Two diamonds with the same carat weight can face up differently because of shape, measurements, depth, cut, and length-to-width ratio. Compare the report and the visible stone together.
Match the setting to daily wear
Basket height, prong style, band width, pave coverage, metal, hidden halos, and wedding-band fit affect comfort, maintenance, and durability as much as appearance.
Certification supports verification
GIA and IGI reports can document key grading details and identification. Confirm the report number and inscription where applicable, while remembering that a report does not replace visual review.
Build time into the proposal plan
Custom design can include sourcing, CAD approval, revisions, production, setting, sizing, inspection, and insured delivery. Start early and disclose the proposal date before approving a schedule.
